Dear engaged couples, we are pleased that you are interested in our mill and we would like to thank you for your interest.
We are happy, that we can proclaim that we have managed four seasons and during that time we have hosted more than 90 weddings!
In our area you can organize weddings according to your ideas and size. The area is suitable for weddings for about 80 – 120 guests, but it is cosy and you can organize smaller events for about 40people – we can make you a special offer for weekdays. The maximum capacity of the area is around 200 guests.
Our wedding season 2021 starts on 18th April and finishes 10th October. After that, we will close the resort and it is closed during winter (but it is possible to realize tour or production meeting).
You can rent the site from Friday to Sunday. Friday is usually devoted to preparations, Saturday for the wedding and Sunday for cleaning and packing.
After four yours of organizing weddings we have a lot of equipment so you do not need any other furniture or decorations.
The individual parts of the site you can see in the section TO RENT, which also contains the rules of renting it.
We are neither a restaurant nor hotel, we are a place for your private event. You can bring your own food or you can order from a catering company. For the preparation of the food of your own you can use the basement (sinks, rooms for storing food and drinks, fridges, freezers) and our dishes and glasses, as well as our two outdoor grills (for steaks and a big pork leg (ham). You do not have to pay us any extra money for bringing your own stuff.
You can organize the wedding yourself or we can provide you with some useful contacts for our suppliers (catering, baking, flowers, photographers, bands etc.), we can help arrange anything. You can rent props, furniture or various decorations from our rental company www.redeko.org. We can rent you anything from our stock, if you like them or if they are suitable for the style of your event.; We have helped to arrange weddings in the style of the first republic or sailor´s style. We often decorate the Smoking club as an Irish pub, Cuba club or in the style of the 1930s.
We can rent you various board games for your guests, Russian bowling, pétanque, garden chess, croquet, football etc.
The bride and groom can use our little romantic chambre where they can rest. There is an old, cast iron bath and an original Francis turbine. This room is in an untraditional style and from the window you can see the stream.
Your guests can get rest in the Mill room on the upper floor (there are available leather sofas, sitting bags). At many weddings, this room was used as a base for the bride and her preparations and later as a resting room for family members and friends. For this purpose you can also use the already mentioned Smoking room. We are preparing more suitable rooms.
You can build tents in the garden without any limits. We can connect your caravans to the electricity.
We have a really good deal for the accommodation in Chateau Liblice, which is within walking distance. The chateau´s capacity is 53 rooms and 110 beds. Other accommodation options are pensions in Mělník and its surrounding (usualy 15minutes drive) – you have to arrange those yourselves. We can provide you with some contacts and we can offer you a transfer with our 9 seat car.
Parking grass area is suitable for up to sixty cars, as you can see on the plan in the Main/Intro page. Guests get to the site through the garden, where you can prepare welcome drinks and some food (usually under the tent on the area of the chess board).
BONUS: Included the rental price we provide our „know-how“ (the opportunity to use our production experience) and 3 – day personal care during your wedding weekend. During the preparations we will meet a few times and you can tell us your ideas, you can go through the photographers from the organized events and in the end we can put everything together to make your special day (day D) to your (and your guests´) satisfaction.
